mixed experience at the guesthouse
hard bed bad facilities
the room was like a hotel room with a television and a mini bar it was all very clean
the bed was very hard when you looked out the window you were stared at by many foreign men my wife smokes but there were bad facilities for that because if you went outside you were right next to the street where cars drive there was also a lot of noise at night and the hotel was noisy

handy machine cold drinks motorbike parking easy exploration
I found a coffee machine very handy, especially for early mornings. The fridge in my room was useful for keeping drinks cold. I located safe motorbike parking nearby, a major plus. The proximity to various facilities made exploring very easy.
the washroom was a bit small, though it served its purpose adequately, for me.

Mixed Feelings About My Stay
unsafe area street noise
The area around the hotel felt REALLY unsafe. I saw some shady characters, and , made me uneasy, especially at night. The noise from the street was also a problem. It was difficult to get a good night's sleep (which is the purpose of staying at a hotel). There was constant talking and loud music until late.

friendly staff large room run down building street noise
The staff WAS very friendly. My room was clean and quite large. I appreciated the close proximity to the metro station. It made getting around EASY.
The building had a run down appearance. I felt a bit unsafe in the immediate area, particularly at night. Carrying my luggage up the stairs was also a HASSLE. The noise from the street was noticeable.

excellent accommodation in a central location!
comfortable bed metro station city exploration
i found the beds to be quite comfortable and the room service consistently changed towels, soaps, and maintained cleanliness daily. the location proved excellent with both a metro and bus station conveniently located in front of the building. i was able to easily walk to the tram 28 starting station, a great advantage for city exploration. leaving my luggage until my airport departure was very convenient for me.
the area seemed a bit noisy at night. the street was somewhat busy, although i did not personally feel unsafe. the sound from outside did affect my sleep somewhat. i would like better sound insulation.

The double room included a kettle. i also found complimentary water and tea. the presence of a tv, soap, and shower gel improved the experience. there was a french balcony. The high ceilings also helped.
